Bernie Sanders Visits Moscow to Pay Homage to Soviet Union Founder Lenin

Bernie Sanders visited Moscow, Russia Thursday to pay homage to his childhood hero, Vladimir Lenin. Lenin, the founder of the Soviet Union, was Bernie Sanders inspiration growing up and inspired most of his political views. Bernie drove around Moscow with his entourage to visit multiple Soviet monuments and statues. He stopped at the Lenin statue to lay red roses beneath the statue feet and venerate his lifetime idol. Sanders told a Miami Bulletin reporter on site, “I look up to Lenin because I’m just like him. I own 3 houses and have millions of dollars, and I convinced my followers to blame the wealthy for their problems. I’m wealthy myself, but I act as if I’m a champion of the people. I demand wealth redistribution, but I would be the last person to give up my millions. That’s why I view Lenin with such high regard.”
