Governor Ron DeSantis Installs Shark Crossing Signs at Major Beaches

The state of Florida has installed shark crossing signs at all state beaches. Governor Ron DeSantis told The Miami Bulletin, “We need to make beach goers aware that sharks are crossing in certain areas. Tourists should not bother sharks while they’re crossing.” The project costs the state $100,000 to install shark crossing signs at most beach locations. Animal rights organizations, such as PETA, are praising the efforts of the Florida Governor, “We think the Governor is doing a great job of protecting sharks while they cross. Sharks are beautiful creatures and deserve respect when they’re crossing the beach.”
